A new web site to help pupils and parents with homework:

eHomework was formed to offer a unique reference point on helping your kids with homework. If your child missed something in class, needs information for homework or is revising for exams we can help.
Our concern was that there was no single UK resource for interesting features and practical advice on this subject. Our features and articles are written by professional journalists and experts - who have a particular interest, or a background in this area.
A Helping Hand by Susan Seward and Andrew Gilroy aided in part by Alison Brown, the Deputy Diocesan Director and RE Advisor to the Derby Diocese, has been compiled as an aid to the current round of denominational inspections. The impact that Church of England schools have on learners and how schools and inspectors can evaluate the distinctiveness and effectiveness of them forms a central part of the scheme.
This cogently supports the SIAS structures and would be useful for inspectors and dioceses seeking to underpin the detail of their training and support. The work based on "listening to Learners" is particularly helpful. SIAS inspection - support officer Nick McKemey
