Bishop Kenneth Stevenson is back - and raring to go!
Bishop Kenneth made his first public appearance for six months at a special, inter-denominational service at Portsmouth Cathedral this Sunday on May 13. He can’t wait to say thank you to all those who have been praying for him. He is still recovering from a bone marrow transplant he was given in December to combat leukaemia. Doctors are pleased with his progress and he is regaining strength each day. Read more

David Cameron has chosen a Church of England school for his eldest daughter. He has chosen St Mary Abbots Primary off Kensington High Street. The school was described in its last Ofsted report as "a calm, purposeful and very effective school, because it meets the needs of all its pupils" Read more.
Headteachers at Church of England schools in Bradford are being offered month-long sabbaticals during term time. After the success of a pilot project, heads in Bradford can now take advantage of the professional development sessions in the Yorkshire Dales and Northumberland. Read more
