Contracts of employment for use in voluntary aided and foundation schools were drawn up by The National Society in collaboration with Southwark Diocesan Board of Education and London Diocesan Board for Schools, under the scrutiny of the Society's legal advisers. They have been revised in the light of new employment legislation, also under the scrutiny of experts, and some parts of all the contracts are 'fill-in-able'. New fill-in contracts are now available. The new contracts are only on-line and no longer sold by the National Society as printed documents..

In the latter three cases, the forms are suitable for use with full-time and part-time staff or for fixed-term contracts.
The contracts are designed to be used in conjunction with the supporting publications from The National Society describing grievance, discipline and capability procedures for use in voluntary aided and foundation schools. A summary of the stages in these procedures is appended to the form of contract itself. Notes relating to the contract and other general guidance complete each document.
Application forms are available to complement the contracts above for the following posts only. The application forms available below are new from 19 April 2006.
